Farm Equipment Salesperson

MPG is a diversified cooperative serving the needs of agricultural and resource based industries in our surrounding communities since 1932. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Farm Equipment Salesperson to join our MPG Truck and Tractor Division in Presque Isle, Maine.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sell new and used farm equipment, including tractors, Implements, and specialty potato handling equipment.
• Work closely with our farmer customer to understand their operational needs.

Promote and represent Case Hand our other equipment brands.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide follow-up support.
• Assist with equipment demonstrations and product education.
• Coordinate with parts and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Must be able for occasional travel throughout the Northeast and Eastern Canada.

Qualifications:
• Agricultural background or knowledge of farm equipment preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Sales experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• The ideal candidate must also possess excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
