- Field grid mapping/GPS technology- MPG provides field grid mapping to our customers with the goal of gaining useful information about the soil our crops are grown in. This service will provide growers with detailed maps of their farmland and provide agronomic information about the soil and terrain. GPS technology (receivers, yield monitors, data cards, etc.) are also going to be sold through the Crop Services department.
- Record keeping - With the GPS technology, growers will have more concise and accurate records of their farmland and operations.
- Agronomic consulting - As we evolve in the process of adopting precision agriculture technology, our sales team is continually being trained and educated about every facet of our services and products. This assures that MPG is providing sound agronomic consulting concerning the results of the grid mapping and yield monitoring.
- Soil sampling - Intensive soil sampling will be packaged with the grid mapping and offered through MPG. This service will be packaged and sold according to the requests of our customers.
- Yield monitoring/Yield monitors - Yield monitors for harvesting equipment will be sold through the Crop Services department and interpretation of the maps will be offered through the sales team.
- Variable rate application - As the process unfolds and the technology is adopted MPG will provide variable rate application technology.
- Agronomic interpretation - Accurate interpretations of site-specific mapping and yield monitoring is essential to the success of precision agriculture. At MPG we are becoming proficient in these areas so that we can make our customers more profitable.
